Whitkirk Football Club

About Us

Established in 1938, Whitkirk have three senior teams playing across the West Yorkshire Leagues and a thriving junior section.

Rooted in our East Leeds community, we nurture local talent and deliver improvements in physical and mental fitness through participation and achievement.

With 16 junior teams and over two hundred u7 to u18 players, the ambitious youngsters are really going places. Currently playing in the Garforth Junior Football League (GJFL), we are always looking to grow and improve, so welcome any new players and coaches into the club.

Please contact us for more information.

For absolute clarity there is only one football section within the constitution of the Whitkirk Club and consists of junior and adult teams. The football section play their football through the WRCFA and after discussions with the junior administration 2 years ago it was agreed that moving forward from 2022 it would be best for administration and purposes to register the open age and junior teams separately on the whole game system for ease within the football section. This was only way of each age group taking responsibility for their administration and discipline matters. For over 40 years the juniors have been supported by the football section and since 2011 circa £35k was invested in the juniors by the paying of pitch fees, insurance, league cup fees, 50% towards poaching and medical courses, new goal posts and a container to store equipment and the use of club facilities and training pitches.
