Function Room Hire at The Whitkirk Club

Rooms Available

We offer two rooms and two bars for members’ private functions:

• Main Room – capacity up to 110 guests
• Templar Room – capacity up to 80 guests

Whenever the Main Room is booked (e.g. for a band), the Templar Room will remain open for member use.

2025 / 2026 Prices (all based on a 4-hour slot):

• Templar Room – £120 (£130 from 1st January 2026) – members only
• Main Room (by request only) – £160 / £135 for funerals

A refundable damage bond is required for all bookings, provided the room and furnishings are returned in good condition.

Templar Room Details

The Templar Room is ideal for a variety of private events, with capacity for up to 80 guests. It includes multiple TVs, including a 75-inch HD screen for music, videos, or presentations.

Suitable for:

• Parties
• Presentation nights
• Birthdays
• Christenings
• Other private functions

Please note: a fixed pool table is located in the room, which will be covered during events.

Main Room Use

The Main Room may be unavailable during club events such as quizzes, bingo, or major sports screenings.

Kitchen & Catering

The club kitchen is available for private hire. Parties may either self-cater or use external catering services.

Sporting Bookings

The Templar Room is available for Whitkirk and affiliated organisations. 

The Templar Room or Orangery must be booked through the Club Secretary: whitkirkclub@gmail.com

Important Notes

• Saturday night bookings may be limited, as both lounges are sometimes reserved for club events that cannot be relocated.
• Double bookings cannot be accommodated, so please confirm early to avoid disappointment.
• The Templar Room may occasionally have sports coverage showing on the TVs during general use.

Guests must be accompanied by a member and signed in before entry.
