Dear Member,


The committee have decided that in all bookings of the Templar Room / Orangery and Main Lounge no wall window or celling mounted items will be allowed, this also includes glitter table scatter. There are of course balloons on tables separate displays allowed. We hope that this does not prevent you from having a great Event. Their may be a £50 retainer required for certain bookings.


This directive is because of the damage caused by Events using tape and self adhesive Blu Tak on the walls and table scatter damaging the furniture and dance floor.

The cost for booking the Main Loumge, only available on a Sunday 4pm until 8pm is £125 not available at other times. Numbers in your party regulate room allocation 120. No booking of Main Lounge allowed if member invites more than number of places allowed. 


The Cost of booking the Templar Room & Orangery available on most  dates 7pm until 11pm is £100 maximum 110. Saturday Night bookings for the Templar Room/Orangery may be limited (no bookings allowed in Main lounge Saturdays).


Christening events can be booked in the Templar Room/Orangery, from 12 noon until 4pm on a Sunday, co up to 110 people £100.  We do not have staff available to gain admittance prior to such event. (please note we do not book events in the main lounge on Sundays before 4pm)


All bookings have to be made and authorised by the Secretary in person and Booking sheet completed along with pre-payment for event. (certain dates public holidays for example are excluded). Please note all times include set up times for room decoration. Any extra facility will have to be made by arrangement only.Should you invite more guests than the permitted number their is no automatic upgrade available to another bar and your booking will be cancelled with no return of moneys.



Funeral events can be booked in the same way with the same conditions for £90. (subject to availability). Please note that if you use your own caterer they must provide all that is required including crockery tea and coffee and return kitchen to the condition it was found in. We will try to provide the main lounge for these events.


The Templar Room/Orangery has a nominal maximum capacity of 110 people. The Main Lounge has a nominal maximum capacity of 120 people.


All booking sheets have to be signed by The Member, and are subject to The Whitkirk Club rules, conditions, and the licencing act. All persons appearing to be under 18 years of age must have current Photo ID. The fee charged includes Bar staff, Cleaning staff, Kitchen facilities and room Hire. A copy of the rules of booking an Event can be supplied by looking at downloads Event Booking Form on this site. These bookings are for within the premises only and we do not have the ability to have outside arrangements e.g. Bouncy Castles BBQ,Hog Roasts,Play Equipment etc.


The Whitkirk Club reserve the right to change a booking with adequate notice.
